Welcome to our Men's Ministry page!
Brian Harris is our men's ministry leader here at Fairview and we would like to welcome all men and even young men to this class! Our desire through this class is to disciple men and let the Lord grow them into the spiritual leaders that God designed and desires them to be! There are ongoing studies covering a great deal of topics. Come and be a part of the fellowship and sharing time that is welcomed and encouraged so that God can use us as leaders in the home, the church, and our community!
Fairivew Baptist Church is also involved with the Lincoln County chapter of "Lincoln Outdoorsmen for Christ." Through this upstart ministry that was the vision of our pastor Bro. Johnny last year, this group of men desires to reach out to the sportsmen in our communities in Lincoln County to special times and events that encourage fellowship, discipleship, family outings, CenterShot Archery for children and youth, and especially reaching lost men, women, boys, and girls to Jesus Christ in a personal saving relationship. Some of our events include bow shoots, wild-game dinners, turkey calling contest/workshop, family day at the Salato Center in Frankfort, Kentucky where the Kentucky Fish & Wildlife headquarters is located. This family day will include fishing for the kids, a cookout for the whole family, a tour of the wildlife that Kentucky offers, and an inside tour of the educational portion of wildlife. We are excited to be a part of "Lincoln Outdoorsmen for Christ and we welcome you to come and be a part of this great ministry! Brian Harris is the president of our local chapter and will answer any questions you may have. Our monthly meetings are on the last Monday of each month, at 7:00 p.m. located at the Lincoln County Baptist Association office. Hope to see you there!
